Having recently quarantined for 14 days, several times we did, or were about to, run out of essentials. Phoning Point Lonsdale IGA to explain our position, twice they kindly obliged by delivering our small orders in a matter of hours after we placed our order online, outside of their scheduled delivery hours. We greatly appreciated their understanding of our position. Having recently returned to the area, it is this embrace of community service which makes us enjoy life in Lonnie even more. It can't always happen but we consider ourselves lucky that PLIGA made that allowance. Service can only go so far, but we appreciate the value in 'paying a bit more' for groceries if it means we develop a relationship with our 'local IGA'. Goodwill and kindness is a godsend. Thank you PLIGA for your impeccable 'unexpected' service, which I trust you might look to expand in this ever-changing and variable climate. Best Wishes, Luke
What a great little IGA. The best I’ve ever been in. I avoid our local IGA at all costs, I was so surprised walking in here. I could smell the freshness walking in the door, the deli girls were very helpful and friendly, everything was easy to find and good prices. Great experience.
IGA Point Lonsdale has the best Roast chickens in town! Best service and fresh quality food.

Great store, clean and organised, all staff were happy, smiling, very friendly service. Delicatessen case, slicer and work benches were spotless, great to know you slice on demand. Hopefully you get Barkly Gypsy Ham on board will return to check, it's better than Barkly Grandmother's alot nicer being triple smoked. Overall a quaint supermarket to shop in, in a small seaside town.
